  • "PuTTY client to connect to SSH with Symbian phones"

PuTTY is a well-known SSH client (Secure Shell client, the security protocol used to connect to servers), in this case, for the Windows operating system. Through these program, you can use connections like SSH, Telnet, Rlogin, Serial or RAW, and transfer files or other data to the servers. This download is for a free version 0.65 of PuTTY, a beta version of the program compatible with most versions of Windows.

With PuTTY, you can remotely connect to servers with countless different options that can be configured to your liking. You’ll have a command screen, which you will use to establish a connection with the remote machine. Doing this is quite easy: all you have to do is specify the IP address or name of the remote server and the port, and click the “Open” button.

If you have never used a beta version of a program before, there are some things you should know before you download this version of PuTTY 0.65. The first is that beta versions are a great way to be one of the first to find out and try new features in a program. The second is that these programs are still in their testing phase, so you might experience some bugs while you use it.
